Artemis Concert Series

Inaugural Concert

Our inaugural concert in Irasburg, VT featured the talented and accomplished Celtic artists, Natalie Haas and Yann Falquet. Their duo draws from the rich folk music of Quebec, Scandinavia, and Western Europe, and they have each performed to sold-out crowds throughout Europe and the U.S., winning them world-wide acclaim.

THANK YOU to everyone who came out and made this first concert such a wonderful success!  Stay tuned for details of our NEXT concert, as well as video clips from our inaugural concert.

Natalie Haas

"In the hands of Natalie Haas, the cello becomes a truly magical instrument." - Green Man

Natalie Haas is one of the most sought after cellists in Celtic music today. She and Scottish fiddler Alasdair Fraser have toured as a duo for 18 years, wowing audiences at festivals and concerts worldwide with their unique sound. She has appeared on over 50 albums, including those of Cape Breton fiddler Natalie MacMaster, Irish greats Altan, Solas, and Liz Carroll, and Americana icon Dirk Powell. Natalie has also toured with Mark O'Connor as a member of his Appalachia Waltz Trio.

Yann Falquet

Montrealer Yann Falquet is one of the most creative acoustic guitarists in today's Québécois music scene.

Over the last fifteen years, he has recorded five albums and toured the world with French Canadian power trio Genticorum. He also toured for three years with the award-winning Canadian celtic/world group the McDades. Over the years, he has developed a unique personal guitar style for Québécois folk music, rhythmically powerful yet subtly complex.
